Sunday Fellowship
Everyone is welcome at our Sunday morning gathering.
Under normal circumstances, we meet at the Lingonberry, 218 W. Water Street, with our service at 10:00, followed by our social time at 11:00. Come a few minutes early for meditative music before the service. We also typically offer an option to attend remotely via Zoom.
We gather on Sunday mornings to find meaning and live more deeply. Our Sunday fellowship creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.
Elements of our Sunday morning service include:
-
Words of welcome
-
Lighting a flaming chalice, the symbol of our faith
-
Music, both instrumental and vocal and in a variety of styles
-
A time for lifting up the joys and concerns of the congregation
-
Quiet time for reflection
-
Readings—ancient or contemporary
-
A talk given by a guest speaker, a member of the congregation or a visiting minister, often including a time for discussion
-
An offering, collecting financial donations for the congregation or for justice work in the community
