Saving the Planet with your Fork!

Location: Lingonberry

Climate change is overwhelming; most folks prefer to ignore it rather than engage with all the bad news! But there are so many small, beautiful, life-giving steps we can take to reduce anxiety and reorient ourselves as nature lovers and climate warriors. This service, a week after Earth Day, we will take a fun tour of a simple way you can be kind to the earth: plant-based eating! Every day, three times a day, you can make a choice to use your fork to care for the earth. There are so many different gradations of plant based eating; surely one of them will suit you. Our speaker, a plant based eater, has worked with the churches in Evanston, IL (including Evanston’s UU congregation) to share how our food choices impact our world. Don’t miss this chance to think and talk about delicious food! YUM. Service Leader: Bronze Quinton
