Having and Being Had: When is there just too much STUFF?

This service title is taken from a nonfiction book by Eula Biss, in which she examines the evolution of her economic status (from struggling writer to successful, widely published one), and calls into question the assumption that our economic status should always “improve.” Beth Wahlberg, service leader.

This week, we are meeting in person at Phelps Park, Shelter #1 at 10:00 a.m., with an online option via Zoom, including a phone option.

  • a lawn chair or blanket, if you don’t want to sit at one of the picnic tables
  • your own beverage; refreshments will not be provided
  • sensitivity to others on their pandemic journey re: masks, social distancing, vaccinations, etc
