The Illusion of Separateness and Racial Injustice

Location: Lingonberry

Rugged individualism has a certain appeal. Yet seeing ourselves as separate from other people and from our natural environment has been called an illusion by Thich Nhat Hanh, Albert Einstein, and many other wise teachers. Today let’s explore this illusion of separateness as a major contributor to social injustices, and racial injustice in particular. Service will be presented live via zoom by Kirk Witztberger, member of the UU Society of Iowa City/Coralville and Outreach Coordinator for the IUUWAN. Service Leader: Carolyn Corbin
