What do a 13th-century Sufi poet, a lay Christian contemplative in the early 1980s, and the 2015 Pixar film Inside Out all have in common? A profound respect for the multiplicity of our inner worlds, coupled with spiritual practices for welcoming and attending to the many, at times polarized, parts inside us. The Rev. Seth Robinson will share some reflections on this turn toward internal hospitality that is reshaping his relationships to self, spirituality, and social movements.
