As we continue to explore our focus on justice in the month of January, Karen will guide us through a workshop centered on UUs and their involvement (including sometimes their lack thereof) in the Civil Rights movement. As we learn more about our denomination’s history, we’ll explore the consequences of taking a public stance in a deeply divided society today and ask how much we might risk to take a position of conscience on a divisive social issue.
