Indra’s Jeweled Net: Reflections on the Interdependent Web

Location: Lingonberry

In Hindu mythology the god Indra’s abode contains a wondrous vast net. At each crossing point of the net hangs a single glittering jewel. We’ll learn more about this magnificent net and how it illustrates one of our beloved UU values: the interdependent web of all existence. As part of that learning, we’ll hear from an essay by the Rev. James Ishmael Ford published in the Journal of the Unitarian Universalist Buddhist Fellowship. Service Leader: Nancy Barry
