Fire Communion and a Special Story

Location: Lingonberry

Join us for what has become an annual tradition for the beginning of the New Year: the fire communion, sometimes known as a “burning bowl” ceremony. During this service, we will also hear a children’s book, “Franklin and Winston: A Christmas that Changed the World,” read by member Anne Glenn-White. This book describes not only the Christmas these two world leaders shared in 1941 but also the culmination of their extended visit, the “Declaration by United Nations,” signed January 1, 1942. Service Leader: Bronze Quinton
