There are so many pressing issues facing our state, country, and world. Deciding where to start, and where your energy is most effective is something anyone getting involved has to consider. Ayla (she/they) will share their thoughts and experiences on activism and mutual aid in their community, and their journey to where they are today. Ayla Boylen is a local activist for climate justice and mutual aid who brings their art background into all of their work. Ayla is the President of Our Future, a local non-profit, holds a leadership role in the local chapter of the NAACP Environmental Justice Committee and works with Buffalo Rebellion, a state-wide coalition of climate justice advocates. They are also involved in the establishment and operation of several community-shared gardens. Service Leader: Carolyn Corbin
